Description
Tango is a dual purpose, modern high alpha hop and an evolution of Hallertauer Tradition and Perle created as a versatile, environmentally friendly hop with good climate and disease tolerance. When used as a late addition expect sweet citrus fruit notes big on passionfruit, which can be further accentuated by top-fermenting yeasts. Tango also produces resinous woody nuances, and its pleasant bitterness even works well in hop-forward beers. Developed in Germany's Hüll region and descended from US Cascade, Hallertauer Tradition and Hüll aroma hops.
