White Labs WLP001 California Ale Yeast®
Origin: AUT

Description
The first yeast produced from the White Labs yeast strains in 1995, WLP001 California Ale Yeast® has become a firm favourite with brewers for its clean flavours and robust fermentations. Ideally suited for producing hoppy beers by accentuating hop flavours and aromas, WLP001 California Ale Yeast® also attenuates well, even in high gravity beers. Its high attenuation performance and medium flocculation produces lovely dry beers which are clean and crisp. This robust versatile yeast is also usefully quick at reabsorbing diacetyl.
