Description
Special Auxiliary Finings are a liquid auxiliary finings based on stabilised silicic acid produced by maintaining sodium silicate at an acid pH. Auxiliary finings are intended to precipitate proteins rather than yeast and, due to their opposite charges, are generally added prior to isinglass finings.
